Hospitality and Food at Surrey

Pictured above are the Hospitality and Food subject group at Surrey, along with their colleagues in the Tourism subject group. The two groups work closely together in teaching and research.
There is a dynamic, world-leading hospitality group at Surrey, made up of academics, researchers and students. It is highly international – academic staff come from seven different countries, researchers from more than ten, and students from more than sixty places around the world.
We attract people from both near and far because of our long standing reputation for being excellent at what we do, namely teaching and researching management in the hospitality industry. Surrey has the oldest endowed chair in hospitality – the Forte Professorship of Management; as well as one of the most recent – the International Travel Catering Association (ITCA) Professorship of Production and Operations Management. The School is also grateful for the support of the Savoy Educational Trust which enables us to annually award undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships and prizes.
