Health Care Management Research Group
The Health Care Management Research Group conducts research into primary care organisations, quality and management practices in the health care sector. The group has strong links with the NHS and Royal College of General Practitioners and has been funded to explore the effectiveness of accreditation and training and development for a number of clinical groups. Areas of research interest within the group include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Development of management competence in clinicians
- Development of primary care organisations
- Diffusion, spread and sustainability of quality
- The role of accreditation in health service quality
